Case Study: Complex Architectural Lattice Models in 10 Days
· general
The Project
An architectural firm needed a precision-fabricated lattice scale model, complete with integrated greenery, for a high-stakes international property presentation. The deadline was exactly 10 days away.
The Impossible Deadline
In the architectural modeling industry, creating highly complex, repetitive lattice structures by hand using traditional methods (balsa wood, acrylic cutting, hand-gluing) is incredibly tedious. Meeting a 10-day deadline for this level of detail with traditional methods was impossible.
By leveraging advanced CAD and industrial 3D printing (SLS Nylon/Resin), we bypassed manual assembly entirely. The printer flawlessly replicated the microscopic lattice details overnight.
The Result
Our finishing team applied the integrated greenery and final painting touches, delivering a visually stunning, meticulously accurate scale model well ahead of the international event.
