Case Study: Bespoke Retail Fixtures & 3D Printed Displays
· general
The Project
When a luxury retail flagship store required a custom display table with an embedded 3D logo fabrication, they turned to 3D Forger. The challenge was strict adherence to international luxury brand guidelines, requiring a flawless, highly premium finish, and a fixed, unmovable deadline for the store opening.
The Manufacturing Process
To achieve the uncompromising standard expected by high-end luxury brands, we didn't just 3D print the parts. We utilized an advanced nano chrome process with a genuine silver layer applied over high-resolution SLA resin prints.
This specialized, high-cost finishing technique creates a perfect, mirror-like metallic exterior that is indistinguishable from solid metal, while maintaining the complex geometry that only industrial 3D printing can provide. We seamlessly integrated these premium 3D printed components with traditional craftsmanship, combining them with solid wood and cold-rolled steel for the primary display table framework.
Our Approach & Maintenance
Our scope covered Design, Fabrication, and ongoing Maintenance (excluding the final site installation which was handled by the client's primary contractor). By separating the installation but retaining a maintenance contract, we ensured the client received a flawless product that remains in perfect condition over time, without disrupting their internal contractor workflows.
The Result
Delivered on time for the flagship store opening.
Flawless, premium recreation of the brand's 3D assets using real silver nano chroming.
Ongoing maintenance support guarantees longevity in high-end retail environments.
